Crab Rangoon Burger Recipe
Ingredients
Burger:
- 1 lb. Ground Beef
- 5-10 Wonton Wrappers
- 5 Brioche Buns
- Salt
- Pepper
Crab Mixture:
- 8 oz. Cream Cheese
- 5 oz. Crab Meat Drained
- 1 Green Onion Diced
- 1 Garlic Clove Minced
- Salt
Sweet & Sour Sauce:
- 2/3 Cup Pineapple Juice
- 1/3 Cup Rice Vinegar
- 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Ketchup
- 1 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
Instructions
- In small bowl mix together all of the ingredients for the crab mixture. Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator until you are ready to use it.
- In a small sauce pan whisk together all the ingredients for the sweet and sour sauce, and whisk until it thickens. The sauce will continue to thicken once the heat is off so turn off heat BEFORE it gets to your desired thickness.
- Start to heat your frying oil to 350˚
- While oil is heating form your burger patties from the ground beef, salt and pepper them. Grill to your desired temperature.
- Once oil is heated fry wonton wrappers for about 1 minute until they are nice and crispy.
- To assemble place burger patty on the bottom bun, top with 1 or 2 wontons, a scoop of crab mixture and top with sweet and sour sauce.
