Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed French Bread

Well the manuscript for the book was officially excepted by the publisher today. One step closer, to being able to talk about all the details of the cookbook. In the meantime it’s time for another fun Philly Cheesesteak recipe. I obviously love my burger and Philly Cheesesteak recipes lol. This time I am making a Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed French Bread! I love this one because it is everything you love about a Philly Cheesesteak but just way over the top lol. Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed French Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Pckgs. Steam-Umms
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 Green Pepper Sliced
  • 1 Onion Sliced
  • 6 oz. Mushrooms Sliced
  • 1 French Bread Loaf
  • 8 Provolone Cheese Slices
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat your oven to 375˚F.
  • In a medium pan/skillet cook your Steak-Umms over a medium heat. Add salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce.
  • Once Steak-Umms are cooked remove them from the pan. Add the butter into the pan once melted down add in the green pepper, onions, mushrooms and salt and pepper. Cook until everything is nice and tender, then remove from the pan.
  • Cut a gouge into the French bread, making it a boat. Lay 4 slices of Provolone cheese along the bottom, next add in the cooked steak-umms, the sautéed veggies and then another layer of 4 slices of provolone cheese.
  • Place on a baking sheet and place in the oven for about 15 minutes, until cheese is melted.
