Course Appetizer, Side Dish, Snack
Cuisine American, Street Foods
Servings 8 Servings

Ingredients

Fried Cheese:

  • 1/3 Cup Flour
  • 1-1/2 Cup Plain Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Egg Beaten
  • 10 oz. Goat Cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Buffalo Sauce:

  • 4 Tbsp. Butter Melted
  • 1/2 Cup Hot Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  • Place flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl, in a second bowl, add beaten egg, and in a third bowl add your bread crumbs.
  • Break goat cheese into about 20 small balls, coat in the flour, egg, and lastly the bread crumbs. Place on a baking sheet and place in the freezer for about 20 minutes to firm up.
  • While the cheese in the freezer add all of the ingredients for the buffalo sauce in a small bowl and mix together.
  • Heat some oil in a fryer or on the stovetop to 350˚F. Once the cheese is firmed up fry them in batches for about 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oil and place it on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  • Place the fried cheese in a bowl and toss it with the buffalo sauce to coat, and serve.
