Chuletas Fritas

We made it to another Monday! I don’t know what I added an exclamation point because Mondays mean that our weekend is over =( Anyway, today we are making a Puerto Rican recipe. A quick and easy and AMAZING tasting protein for any dinner. We are making Chuletas Fritas or Fried Pork Chops. These are well seasoned full of flavor quick addition to any dinner, and an easy way to dip your toes into Puerto Rican food! I used Paprika to make it easy on everyone, I USUALLY use Sazón so if you have that use it lol. Anyway, guys go ahead and make this one! Chuletas Fritas / Fried Puerto RIcan Pork Chops

Ingredients
  

  • 6 Pork Chops Bone-in
  • 1-1/2 tsp. Adobo
  • 1-1/2 tsp. Paprika
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. Oregano
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil

Instructions
 

  • In a pilon (mortar & pestle) add in the garlic, oregano, and olive oil. Mash it together until it is a nice paste. If you don't have one you can use a food processor.
  • Coat the pork chops in the garlic and oil paste evenly. Next sprinkle with both adobo and paprika on both sides.
  • In a pan/skillet heat about 1/3 Cup of vegetable or canola oil over a medium heat. Add in the seasoned pork chops and fry for about 5 to 7 minutes per side depending on the thickness.
