I have done a bunch of Christmas recipes so far. Mostly I have done desserts on the lists of recipes I have done. A couple dinners thrown in there. I have neglected breakfast though, so today I am doing a Gingerbread Pancake for that Christmas breakfast.
Gingerbread Pancake Recipe
A Christmas time Breakfast treat!

Ingredients
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1-1/4 Cup Water
- 1/2 Cup Molasses
- 2 Tbsp. Butter Melted
- 2-1/2 tsp. Ginger
- 1-1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1-1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. Ground Cloves
- 2 Eggs
- salt
Instructions
- In medium bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
- In separate mixing bowl whisk together water, molasses, and eggs and melted butter. Pour wet mixture into dry and mix until combined.
- Heat pot or griddle over medium flame. Using about 1/4 cup of batter at a time pour into heated griddle until completely cooked. About 3-4 minutes per side.
