You would think living in Illinois it would have been easy to come up with neighboring state Missouri’s burger. It really wasn’t though lol. When I did look over local cuisine’s I ran across the St. Paul Sandwich, so that is what I went with! I decided to make a burger that is inspired by that very same St. Paul and that is how we cam up with the Missouri ‘St. Paul’ Burger. While this isn’t the St. Paul itself this burger is my attempt to homage to it. It took a bit of playing around to figure out exactly how I was going to make this burger work and taste great too. Quick note – I know St. Paul is in Minnesota but the St. Paul Sandwich was named for the creators Steven Yuen’s home town.

Missouri ‘St. Paul’ Burger Recipe
Ingredients
- 5 Eggs Beaten
- Black Pepper
- Salt
- 1 Cup Bean Sprouts
- 1/4 Cup Green Onion Diced
- 1/4 Cup Celery Chopped
- 1/4 Cup Onion Chopped
- 1 tsp. Soy Sauce
- 1/4 tsp. Cornstarch
- 1 tsp. Sesame Oil
