Ever since I was a little kid going with my Dad to the Puerto Rican fest in Humboldt Park, in Chicago I have loved a lot of the little Puerto Rican finger foods. One of my all time favorites that I would always get when we were there were Puerto Rican Alcapurrias. Now when ever I go out and hit a Puerto Rican spot I always get either these or Rellenos De Papas. So now that I have laid out exactly how much I love these things lol.. This is one of those Puerto Rican recipes that has small variations to from house hold to house hold, region to region. This is the recipe that my Dad taught me and is one of those variations. If you want to get your feet wet with Puerto Rican food this is a great recipe to start with. Now it isn’t the easiest to make but it is one of the BEST tasting!
