Apple Pie Pancakes

Hey guys here it is time for another weekly pancake recipe. This week I decided to make some Apple Pie Pancakes. Now these aren’t your typical cut up some apple and put the chunks in Pancake Batter these are ARE Apple Pie Pancakes. Even though this is an over the top packed with flavor type of pancake it is still a really simple recipe. Add on top of the amazing taste of the pancakes themselves the perfect Vanilla Maple Syrup. This becomes a total WOW them type of breakfast. Quick easy, taste great and definitely will impress him/her… or heck if this is for the kids still the perfect breakfast lol. It doesn’t who you are making this for they wont last long at all! So go ahead get a making these, give them a try and let me know what you guys think!

Apple Pie Pancakes Recipe

The PERFECT breakfast treat!
Total Time 15 minutes
Servings 3 Serves

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup  Flour
  • 2 Tbsp  Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 2 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp.  Nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground Cloves
  • 1 Cup  Apple, Grated
  • 1 Cup  Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/2 Cup  Vanilla  Maple Syrup
  • 1 Cup  Maple Syrup

Instructions
 

  • Stir together the syrup, vanilla, set aside until ready and serve over pancakes.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.
  • In a measuring cup or small bowl, measure out the milk. Add the remaining wet ingredients and beat until combined.
  • All at once, add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, and mix until just combined. The batter should have some small to medium lumps; don’t overmix or try to stir them smooth.
  • Gently fold in the grated apple.
  • Preheat your skillet over medium heat and brush with 1 1/2 teaspoons of butter or 1 teaspoon vegetable oil.
  • Using a 1/4-cup measure, scoop batter onto warm skillet. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until small bubbles form on the surface of the pancakes, and then flip.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook on the opposite side for about 1 minute, or until golden brown.
