What’s up everyone? I know I am a day late =( it was such a hectic Saturday I didn’t have time to type this one up lol. So I am glad that even though this one is late it is totally freaking worth it! We are making some Bananas Foster Pancakes. Yup you read that right, freaking bananas foster! This is one of those over the top decadent dessert style breakfasts I know will be a huge hit in any house. I won’t lie lol, I was killing the bananas on their own after making them. The wife had to keep smacking my hands to keep me out of them lol. So go ahead guys give these a try I know you will love them. Bananas Foster Pancakes Recipe
Ingredients
Pancakes
- 1-1/2 Cups Flour
- 3-1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
- Salt
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1-1/4 Cup Milk
- 1 Egg
- 2 Tbsp. Butter Melted
- 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
Bananas Foster
- 1/4 Cup Butter
- 2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
- 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. Nutmeg
- 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
- 1/4 tsp. Vanilla
- 2 Bananas Sliced into 1/2 pieces
Instructions
- In large bowl whisk together flour, salt, sugar and cinnamon.
- In another bowl mix milk, vanilla egg and butter until completely blended. Pour wet ingredients in the dry and mix until smooth.
- Heat skillet/pan pour batter about 1/4 cup at a time into pan and cook until golden brown. About 2 or 3 minutes on each side.
- In another pan/skillet combine butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup and vanilla heat over medium heat. Cook until it thickens about 2-3 minutes.
- Lower heat and add banana slices tossing the bananas in the sauce. Allow to cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Stack pancakes and pour sauce from pan over pancakes along with bananas.
