Woot Woot we made it to Friday! I am going to continue with my January of food, as you guys know though I am not doing the typical healthy food to start the year I am revving up for the Super Bowl. I will eventually get around to more healthy foods but for now let’s make some BBQ Chicken Stromboli! This is such a cool and easy little treat to make. Simple to customize to your tastes, change the BBQ sauce, add more cheeses, take some away, season it how ever you like. Anyway guys give this one a try I know you will fall in love, when you do make be sure to take a picture and post it to my Facebook page.

BBQ Chicken Stromboli Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Rotisserie Chicken Shredded
- 1 Tbsp. Butter
- 1/2 Red Onion Sliced
- 1 Refrigerated Pizza Crust
- 6 Provolone Cheese Slices
- 6 Mozzarella Cheese Slices
- 1/2 Cup BBQ Sauce
- 1 Egg Beaten
- 1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
- 1 Tbsp. Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375˚, on stove top heat a skillet or pan over a medium heat and melt butter. Sauté onions in melted butter until tender.
- Roll dough out onto a piece of lightly floured parchment paper. Place cheeses down the center of the dough, add chicken, bbq sauce and sautéed onions.
- Fold sides of dough over the center and pinch to seal, then fold in the ends. Using parchment paper flip the Stromboli onto a baking sheet.
- Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle with parmesan and Italian seasoning.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
