Candied Bacon Wrapped Jalapeños

WOW! With all of my son’s football camps I am running so far behind right now. I mean this is coming out on time and all but barely lol. So running behind I needed a quick and easy recipe, which I know is something way out of left field for me lol J/K. Seriously though I wanted an appetizer, I wanted quick and easy and I wanted super cool. Boom! Candied Bacon Wrapped Jalapeños lol yup killed it with this one. Go ahead guys this is a little tweak on the BBQ appetizer or heck game day finger food. So go ahead give this a try and when you do make sure you take a pic and post it to my Facebook page!

Candied Bacon Wrapped Jalapeños Recipe

Total Time 35 minutes
Course Appetizer
Servings 6 Servings

Ingredients
  

  • 20 Lil' Smokey Sausages
  • 10 Jalapeños Halved and Seeded
  • 10 Bacon Sliced Halved
  • 1 Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • Cinnamon to Taste
  • Cayenne to Taste

Instructions
 

  • Pre-Heat oven to 375˚.
  • In a small bowl mix cream cheese and parmesan cheese.
  • Spoon the cheese mixture into the halved and seeded jalapeños, then place one sausage into each jalapeño.
  • Wrap each in a half piece of bacon and hold in place with a toothpick.
  • Mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and cayenne. Sprinkle over each of the bacon wrapped jalapeños.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.
