Cannoli French Toast

OMG! So today was Family for my son’s High School football team. The parents got out there and did warm ups with the kids and even played a little seven on seven dads vs. sons. I also got to put on gear and tackle Anthony too…. what am I getting at? I am freaking DEAD!!! So I am going to make this one quick and lay down and pass back out lol. This week’s French Toast of the week is an awesome Cannoli French Toast. Making it one of those great sweet & savory kinda of breakfasts. If you guys like cannolis or french toast lol you will fall in LOAVE with these lol. Go ahead make these bad boys. When you do be sure to take a picture and post it to my Facebook page!

Cannoli French Toast

Total Time 15 minutes
Course Breakfast
Cuisine American, French Toast
Servings 2 Servings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/3 Cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 4+ Slices French Brad

Instructions
 

  • In small bowl mix together ricotta, powdered sugar and vanilla until completely combined. Mix in chocolate chips and set aside.
  • In shallow bowl whisk together eggs and cream.
  • Make "sandwiches" with the french bread and ricotta mixture by scooping a liberal amount spreading it across one slice and placing another slice on top.
  • Dunk each side of the sandwich into your egg mixture allowing it to soak in.
  • Cook in pan/skillet until golden brown about 3-4 minutes on each side.
