Hopefully everyone had an AWESOME 4th of July. I decided that after a Holiday I need to post something to really kill it, so how about these killer Carne Asada Fries? Yup these things are so freaking good. I mean if you have watched any of my videos you know I LOVE really easy recipes. Better yet when they are super simple and taste so good lol. I don’t have to sell you on this one I know you will totally love it. When you do make it though make sure you take a picture of it and post it to my Facebook page.

Carne Asada Fries Recipe
Ingredients
Fries:
- 2 Russet Potatoes
- 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp. Paprika
- Salt
Carne Asade:
- 1/2 lb. Flank Steak
- 2 Garlic Cloves Minced
- 1/2 Cup Orange Juice
- 1/4 Lime Juice
- 2 Tbsp. Cilantro Diced
- 1 tsp. Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Oregano
- Salt Pepper
- 1/2 Cup Pepper Jack Cheese Shredded
Toppings (optional):
- Sour Cream
- Tomatoes Chopped
- Guacamole
- Cotija Cheese
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 400˚.
- Rinse potatoes and cut into wedges. In a large bowl combine potatoes, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until completely coated.
- Place wedges on a baking sheet and bake for 35 minutes until the fries are crisp and golden brown.
- In medium bowl combine salt, pepper, chili powder, oregano, garlic, cilantro, orange juice, and lime juice. Once completely combined add steak into marinade and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
- Heat pan/skillet with a little olive oil over medium heat. Cook steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Allow the steak to rest for about 10 minutes then dice.
- Place fries in an oven proof pan/skillet, layer pepper jack cheese and diced steak. Place in the broiler until the cheese is melted.
- Top with any ingredients you like =)
