Chocolate Cake w/ Bourbon & Bacon Frosting Recipe
Ingredients
Cake
- 2 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Dutch Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1-1/2 Cups Butter
- 1-3/4 Cups Sugar
- 5 Large Eggs
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 1-1/4 Cups Buttermilk
Bourbon Bacon Frosting
- 8 Slices Bacon Fried and crumbled
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 8 oz. Cream Cheese
- 3-1/2 Cups Powdered Sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Bourbon I used a Maple Bourbon but you don’t have to
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
