Hey all! It’s.. well Monday lol sorry I know I am late on this one. I had an insane weekend of running around so am a little bit behind on my posts. So here is an extra special French Toast of the Week. This Cinnamon Streusel French Toast recipe is an amazing recipe. It takes basic french toast to the next level. Easy to make, especially if you have to make a lot of it for the whole family. I will tell you when my daughter has friends spend the night this is ALWAYS a hit the next morning. It has that awesome sweet flavor kids will just destroy when they try it. Cinnamon Streusel French Toast Recipe
Ingredients
French Toast
- 4 Texas Toast Slices
- 3 Eggs
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
Cinnamon Streusel
- 1/4 Cup Flour
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Butter Softened
- 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
Instructions
- Pre-Heat oven 350˚.
- In small bowl whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Cut each slice of Texas toast into thirds, dunk bread sticks in the egg mixture.
- Place coated sticks into a baking dish, bake for 9-10 minutes.
- While french toast is baking, in medium bowl mix together flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter.
- Remove french toast from oven flip them in the baking sheet and crumble streusel over the french toast. Place back in the oven and back another 9-10 minutes.
- Serve.
