Cookies and Cream French Toast

Hey all, here we are another weekend. I don’t know about you but this awesome end of April it is… snowing here in the Chicagoland area lol. So I am glad this week’s French Toast is like the ULTIMATE comfort food french toast lol. I give to you…. Cookies and Cream French Toast! Lol yup, this is so freaking indulgent you guys will totally freaking LOVE it! I mean what better way to start the day than with a breakfast smothered in Oreo cookies and whipped cream lol. Seriously guys this is one recipe you need to try, your kids ( if you have any lol if not YOU) will totally love them. When you do make them be sure to take a pic and post it to my Facebook page!

Cookies and Cream French Toast Recipe

Total Time 35 minutes
Course Breakfast

Servings 2 Servings

Ingredients
  

French Toast:

  • 6 Texas Toast Slices
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 Cup Oreo Cookies Crush (I put them in a food processor)

Whipped Cream:

  • 2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1/2 Cup Oreo Cookies Crush (I put them in a food processor)

Glaze:

  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 Cup Milk
  • 1 tp. Vanilla

Instructions
 

  • In small bowl whisk together eggs, cream and Oreos.
  • Heat pan/skillet over medium heat.
  • Drag toast through mixture, make sure it is coated nicely but not soaked through.
  • Cook Texas Toast until golden brown about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • While toast cooks whip cream until thick and peaked, fold in Oreos.
  • Then in a small bowl mix powdered sugar, milk and vanilla to desired consistency.
  • Stack toast, spreading cream between each layer and then topping the stack with your glaze.
