Cranberry Chili Ribs

With summer here that means we get to hit the grill and make some really cool backyard recipes. Today I am throwing down making some really cool ribs. This is actually one of my wife’s recipes. She had been playing with different flavors for some time now and hit a home run on it. These came out so freaking good guys! If you love ribs (who doesn’t) you need to try this variation. When you do make these be sure to take a picture and post them to my Facebook page!

Cranberry Chili Ribs Recipe

Total Time 3 hours 15 minutes
Course bbq, Dinner

Servings 4 Servings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Slabs Baby Back Ribs

Dry Rub:

  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1-1/2 tsp. Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. Cayenne
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Onion Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Sauce:

  • 1 Can Cranberry Sauce
  • 1 Bottle Chili Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Begin pre-heating your grill to 275˚.
  • In a small bowl mix all the ingredients for the dry rub together.
  • Using a small knife remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  • Coat both sides of ribs with the rub you just made. Wrap tightly in tin foil and place on the grill for 3 hours.
  • While ribs are cooking mix together cranberry sauce and chili sauce in a small sauce pan and heat all the way through.
  • After 3 hours baste the ribs with the sauce and place back on the grill for about 10-15 minutes.
