Happy Saturday all! Sorry I am posting this one so late but my son had an off season wrestling meet so spent the day there. Now though the meet is over I am back home I have a full day of cooking and editing.. but you.. You can check out the French Toast of the Week! I am making a quick and easy Crispy French Toast. I really do mean this is super simple. Not a lot above and beyond regular french toast but the out come is so freaking cool. So go ahead guys give this one try I know you will totally love it. Crispy French Toast
Ingredients
- 6 Bread Slices
- 3 Eggs
- 2 Cups Corn Flakes
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 4 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. Nutmeg
- Salt
Instructions
- Whisk eggs, milk and vanilla together.
- Dunk each slice of break into mixture allowing the mixture to soak into the bread.
- Crumble corn flakes and place on a plate. Press each side of soaked bread into the corn flakes.
- Heat a pan/skillet and melt a couple of Tbsp. of butter.
- Cook break until lightly browned about 3-4 minutes on each side.
