Crispy French Toast

Happy Saturday all! Sorry I am posting this one so late but my son had an off season wrestling meet so spent the day there. Now though the meet is over I am back home I have a full day of cooking and editing.. but you.. You can check out the French Toast of the Week! I am making a quick and easy Crispy French Toast. I really do mean this is super simple. Not a lot above and beyond regular french toast but the out come is so freaking cool. So go ahead guys give this one try I know you will totally love it. Crispy French Toast

Course Breakfast
Cuisine American
Servings 2 Servings

Ingredients
  

  • 6 Bread Slices
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 Cups Corn Flakes
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 4 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. Nutmeg
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Whisk eggs, milk and vanilla together.
  • Dunk each slice of break into mixture allowing the mixture to soak into the bread.
  • Crumble corn flakes and place on a plate. Press each side of soaked bread into the corn flakes.
  • Heat a pan/skillet and melt a couple of Tbsp. of butter.
  • Cook break until lightly browned about 3-4 minutes on each side.
