I wanted to make a side to go with all the awesome burgers and grilled food I have been making this summer. I have already thrown several types of potato salad out there, and I ended up for fun doing a fried one on my Twitch Live Stream about a week ago. So I figured you know what I can’t neglect my YouTube peeps lol. This is NOT a rehash of the recipe I put up over there on Twitch this is a different Fried potato salad. This Deep Fried Spicy Potato Salad is nothing short of freaking awesome! I honestly had a lot of fun playing with this one and will 100% for sure play with more kinds of fried potato salad in the future. Go ahead guys give this one a try I know you will totally fall in love with it!

Deep Fried Spicy Potato Salad Recipe
Ingredients
- 6 Russet or Yukon Potatoes
- 2 Hard Boiled Eggs, Chopped
- 1/2 Bell Pepper, Chopped
- 1/3 Cup Mayonnaise
- 1/3 Cup Sour Cream
- 1/4 Cup Franks Red Hot
- 1/4 Cup Green Onion, Chopped
- 1 Jalapeno, Seeded and Diced
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar
- 4 Bacon Slices, Cooked and Crumbled
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Heat oil to 375 degrees, while oil is heating cut potatoes into small bite size pieces. Fry potatoes for about 5 minutes until they get a nice golden brown color. Drain and allow the potatoes to cool.
- hile the potatoes are cooking, whisk together the mayo, sour cream, bacon, hot sauce, sugar and black pepper.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients, including the potatoes.
- Top with additional green onions and a pinch of cayenne pepper or paprika for color if desired.
