Easy Philly Cheesesteak Skewers

Woot woot it’s finally Friday! Man I need this weekend bad! lol. Anyway hopefully everyone had a good week (funny note while I was typing this I typed food week.. you can see where my head is at lol) So I guess that brings me to what we are making today. It’s time to head out to the grill again and make a cool and simple recipe, some Easy Philly Cheesesteak Skewers! Yup we are taking the awesomeness that is Philly Cheesesteak and using it as a kabob, kebab, skewer what ever lol. This is a cool new way to enjoy that classic Philly Cheesesteak that we all know and love. So go ahead and give this one a try I know you will fall in love with this one. Easy Philly Cheesesteak Skewers Recipe

Total Time 45 minutes
Course bbq, Dinner, Main Course
Cuisine American, Barbecue
Servings 4 Servings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. Sirloin Steak Cubed
  • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 6 Provolone Cheese Slices
  • 1 Bell Pepper Cut into Squares
  • 1 Onion Cut into 1/2" Chunks
  • Sourdough Loaf Cubed

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl mix together oil, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper. Toss in cubed steak and make sure it is nicely coated. Set aside for about 30 minutes.
  • Pre-heat your grill to a medium high heat.
  • Once steak is done marinating prep your skewers. Place steak, then bell pepper, onion and bread cubes. Then repeat to fill all skewers.
  • Place on heated grill for 7 to 10 minutes flipping part way through, so you get a nice char and on all sides.
  • Remove from grill add sliced provolone, cover with foil and allow to rest for a couple minutes until cheese is melted.
