So I am trying something a little bit different here! I am getting back to recipes only available on the website of Facebook rather than relying so heavily on YouTube. So check this one out and let me know what you guys think with the re-launching of this kind of recipe. So how do I return to a non-YouTube recipe? Well why don’t we start the process with the way we start the day lol With an awesome breakfast. This is one I make at home for my 7 (almost 8!?!?) Year old daughter Maddie. She only likes certain things to eat and these French Toast Roll Ups hit the nail on the head for her. She loves the idea of finger food still. You know chicken nuggets, pizza, anything she doesn’t need utensils for lol. These awesome little treats fir right in with that kind of meal. So go ahead guys give this one a try I know your little ones will love it just like mine do. Heck let’s be honest you will end up tearing into these and eating them yourself too!
Do you have an awesome breakfast recipe I need to try? Something the kids will love? lol Hit me up and let me know what it is!

French Toast Roll Ups
Ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 1/4 Cup Milk
- 2 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 3 Tbsp. Butter Melted
- 3 Tbsp. Sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
- 8 Slices White Bread
- Maple Syrup options for serving
Instructions
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt 3 tablespoons butter until just melted. With a fork, stir in 3 Tbsp. sugar, 2 Tbsp. brown sugar and 1 Tbsp. cinnamon until a smooth spreadable mixture forms, set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, 2 tsp. Cinnamon and Vanilla, set aside.
- After trimming the crusts from each slice of bread, roll one slice out to about ⅛-inch thickness with a rolling pin. Spread each slice with a thin layer of the butter mixture and roll up tightly. Repeat with remaining bread slices and butter mixture.
- Place 3 tablespoons butter in a large non-stick pan and let melt over medium heat. Dip one roll at a time in the egg mixture and place in the pan. Allow roll ups to cook for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown and slightly crisp on the outside.
- Serve immediately with maple syrup.
