Guinness Sliders

This weekend is New Years, and I have the PERFECT little treat for you to serve lol. I mean I figure you will have beer on hand right? So why not make one of the beers you have there Guinness and if you are going to have some Guinness why not use it to make and awesome Appetizer/ Finger food? Yup Guinness Sliders!! OMG these are so freaking good. They are packed with tons of flavor. Not only do these taste great and will please anyone who tries them, they are super simple. they don’t take long, are easy to put together and everyone one will think you are an amazing cook (well let’s be honest you are lol) So go ahead guys give these sliders a try and have and AWESOME New Years! Guinness Sliders Recipe

Total Time 50 minutes

Ingredients
  

GLAZE

  • 1 Bottle Guinness
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Dried Mustard
  • 1 tsp. Onion Powder
  • 2 Garlic Cloves Minced

SLIDERS

  • 1 Tbsp. Butter
  • 8 oz. Mushrooms Chopped
  • 1/2 Onion Sliced
  • 1/4 Cup Guinness
  • 12 Slider Rolls
  • 3/4 lb. Roast Beef Sliced
  • 6 Slices Swiss Cheese

Instructions
 

  • Pre-Heat Oven to 350 Degrees
  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms, onions and 1/4 Cup of Guinness and sauté until liquid is absorbed.
  • Prepare glaze by combining all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  • Bring mixture to a boil, then lower heat slightly and cook until thickened.
  • Assemble sandwiches by slicing rolls in half, then filling with roast beef, sautéed mushrooms & onions, and swiss cheese.
  • Pour glaze evenly over sandwiches.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
