First, Happy Labor Day everyone. Today’s recipe is one of those I was driving home and then had an odd craving. I said to myself I want to have a Gyro Burger, I searched for recipes to this but all I found was people who made Lamb Burgers. They weren’t gyros in the way I wanted it. So I said screw it! I am just gonna make one the way I want. I am not claiming to have invented this I am sure someone has made this already I just couldn’t find a recipe for this kind of Gyro Burger lol. This is a seriously fun burger that tastes great I know you guys will totally full in love with so go ahead and give it a try. Gyro Burger Recipe

Total Time 20 minutes
Course bbq, Dinner, Launch, Main Course

Servings 4 Servings

Ingredients
  

Burgers:

  • 4 Brioche Buns
  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 1 Tomato Sliced
  • 1/2 Onion Sliced
  • 1/2 Cucumber Sliced
  • Gyro Meat I got some from a local gyro place you can buy it from the store though

Gyro Sauce:

  • 8 oz. Greek Yogurt
  • 1/2 Cucumber Peeled and Diced
  • 1 Garlic Clove Minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. dill
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Form the ground beef into 4 burger patties, salt and pepper and grill to your desired temperature. If you want toasted buns, place them on the grill for a couple minutes.
  • While burgers are cooking mix together all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
  • To build burger, place tomato slices on the bottom bun, then the burger patty, cucumber slices, onions, gyro meat and gyro sauce then top bun.
