Well guys right now it is cold and rainy here in Chicago BUT we are definitely in grilling season (well do we ever really stop grilling lol) so if we are entering that grilling season let’s start throwing out those grill worthy recipes. So today I am making a quick and easy little BBQ dish. We are doing Honey Beer Glazed BBQ Chicken! OMG these things are so good and so freaking easy. This is one of those little recipes you will end up making over and over again because you will fall in love with it completely. Honey Beer Glazed BBQ Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
- 6 Boneless Chicken Thigh Fillets Cubed
- 2 Garlic Cloves Minced
- 1/3 Cup Honey
- 1/2 cup Beer
- 1 tsp. Red Pepper Flake
- 1/2 tsp. Dijon Mustard
- 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
- 1/4 cup Shallots
- 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- Pepper
Instructions
- In a small bowl whisk together the garlic, honey, porter, red pepper flakes, mustard, soy sauce and pepper.
- Add the chicken cubes to the mixture, refrigerate for 1 hour and up to overnight.
- Remove the chicken from marinade and reserve the marinade.
- Thread the chicken through wooden skewers.
- In a pot over medium high heat, add the olive oil and shallots. Sautee until shallots for about 5 minutes or until shallots have softened. Add marinade and boil, stirring frequently, until reduced and thickened.
- Brush the chicken with the glaze, place on the grill. Brush with glaze and turn every 2-4 minutes until cooked through.
