Instant Pot Ribs

Happy Monday! Is that a thing? Well, I am hoping you have a happy Monday even if it isn’t a thing lol. Today I decided to have some fun with my Instant Pot. I have a decent smoker I like to sit outside and smoke on the weekends, but what if you want some great fall off the bone ribs and don’t have a smoker, heck what if you don’t have a place to grill and want them? Well, these Instant Pot Ribs are freaking insane! Not only are they super quick to make in comparison to oven-baked ribs. They are sooooooo freaking tender it is crazy. Simple Instant Pot Ribs

Total Time 45 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Rack Baby Back Ribs
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. Liquid Smoke
  • 4 Garlic Cloves Sliced
  • 1 Onion Sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. Paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 2 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp. Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp. Pepper
  • 2 tsp. Oregano
  • BBQ Sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl mix together paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper and oregano.
  • Einse ribs, pat dry and remove membrane from the back of ribs. Cut slab into 3 pieces so it will fit in the instant pot. Cut everything with with the drub rub.
  • Pour 1 cup of water into the pot, then add apple cider vinegar and liquid smoke. Place the rack in pot and place ribs on the rack so they are out of the liquids.
  • Close slid and set to pressure cook for 25 minutes. Allow a 5 minute natural release then quick release the remaining pressure.
  • Set oven to broil. Baste the ribs in your favorite BBQ sauce and place under the broiler for 3 to 4 minutes until you get a nice char on the ribs.
