Jack Daniel’s Pulled Pork Fried Ravioli

So this is one that TGI Friday’s had years ago and dropped from their ever rotating menu. Problem is my wife loved it, so I had figure out how to make Jack Daniel’s Pulled Pork Fried Ravioli . It took me forever.. FOREVER to get this one nailed down. This is a great one for get togethers every one will dig in and be totally blown away.

Jack Daniel’s Pulled Pork Fried Ravioli Recipe

Total Time 1 hour

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Head of Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2/3 Cup of Water
  • 1 Cup Pineapple Juice
  • 1/4 Cup Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 3 Tbsp Minced Onions
  • 1 Tbsp Jack Daniel's Whiskey
  • 1 Tbsp Crushed Pineapple
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper

Ravioli & Egg wash Ingredients

  • 2 cups Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 16 wonton wrappers

Instructions
 

Jack Daniel's Sauce

  • Per heat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Remove skin from garlic, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in tin foil and bake in oven for an hour. Remove and allow to cool.
  • In medium sauce pan combine water, pineapple juice, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar and cayenne pepper and heat over a medium flame. Stir occasionally until it boils. Then reduce the heat and allow it to simmer.
  • Add remaining ingredients (including the roasted garlic) and stir it all together.
  • Allow to simmer for about 50 or so minutes, or until reduced by half.

Ravioli

  • Whisk the bread crumbs with the paprika, chili powder, black pepper, sugar, and cayenne in a shallow dish; set aside. Beat the eggs with the 3 tablespoons milk in a small bowl.
  • Brush egg wash onto a wonton wrapper, place some pork into the center and place another wrapper on top, make sure to push all the air out.
  • Use more egg wash on the out side of sealed ravioli and drag through the breading mixture.
  • Heat Oil to 350 degrees.
  • Fry for a couple of minutes or until golden brown.

Add to the pulled pork
3/4 Cup of the Jack Daniels Sauce.
1/4 Cup Your favorite smokey BBQ sauce.
The remaining quarter cup of Jack Daniels sauce is perfect for a dipping sauce.
This is a GREAT recipe I promise your guests will love (unless you are making it for your self and being greedy then hell you will love it lol)
