Today we are making a simple yet really cool twist on the sloppy joe, we are making a Korean Beef Sloppy Joe! Yup, we are taking some cool flavors and rolling them into that classic recipe we all loved as kids. How to Make Korean Beef Sloppy Joe
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 lb. Ground Beef
- 3 Garlic Cloves Minced
- 2 tsp. Sesame Oil
- 1/2 Cup Ketchup
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. Chili Paste
- 4 Brioche Buns Toasted
Instructions
- In a large skillet add beef. Break it up and brown it, with about a minute or so left on the beef add in the garlic. It should cook long enough to become fragrant.
- Add in sesame oil, ketchup, hoisin, water, soy, rice wine vinegar and chili paste. Stir together and cook until moisture begins to evaporate/ Should be about 5 to 6 minutes before it becomes sloppy.
- Toast buns, spoon the meat on and enjoy!
