Loaded Baked Potato Pizza

Some time I do a recipe just to see if I can. Lol I want to see if a concept is possible. That’s exactly how I came about the Loaded Baked Potato Pizza! I was goofing around, just saying I am going to make a pizza with this or that. Originally I said I was going to make a mashed potato pizza but I got a lot of odd looks from the family at that one lol. So it changed from mashed potatoes to loaded backed potatoes. This pizza is a carb lovers dream come true lol. I will usually make this one now when my son has a friend or two spending the night, the kids will destroy one of these in minutes. I don’t mind because this one is so easy to make. Not a lot of work and like most of my pizza recipes it is done really fast. Go ahead guys get adventurous and give this one a try and I will see you next time!

Loaded Baked Potato Pizza Recipe

An amazing twist on two different classics, pizza and baked potatoes!
Total Time 30 minutes
Servings 4 Serves

Ingredients

  • 1 Refrigerated Pizza Dough
  • 6 Red Potatoes
  • 1/3 Cup Ranch Dressing
  • 8 Bacon Slices Crumbled
  • 8 oz. Cheddar Cheese Shredded ( I used a extra sharp white cheddar)
  • 6 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 4 Green Onions Diced
  • 1 Tbsp Corn Meal

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375, Cook bacon and crumble. Set aside.
  • Spread Corn meal over Pizza stone or cooking tray the pizza will be on. Spread Dough across pan or stone, brush with oil and bake for about 7-10 minutes, until dough starts to get some light color to it.
  • Spread 3 to 4 TBSP of the ranch dressing over the dough. Lay the slices of potato over the ranch dressing and sprinkle with half the bacon. Top with half the shredded cheddar.
  • Bake for about 12-15 minutes until crust edges are lightly brown and cheese is bubbly and starting to darken
  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly before removing the pizza from the pan.
  • Sprinkle with green onions.
