Maple Apple Pizza

My wife had recently gone apple picking, I mean it is kinda that season, right? So I wanted to do something cool and fun with those apples. What did we come up with? A really cool Maple Apple Pizza. This is a really cool little appetizer, cut this one into some cool little bite-size bits and you will be the talk of any fall get-together. Seriously you need to taste this sweet and savory bad boy. How to Make Maple Apple Pizza

Total Time 25 minutes
Course Appetizer, Dinner, Launch
Cuisine American, Italian
Servings 8 Servings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Refrigerated Pizza Dough
  • 2 Apples Thinly Sliced
  • 1/3 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 1-1/2 Cup Italian Blend Cheese Shredded
  • 4 Bacon Slices Cooked and Crumbled
  • 5 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 3 oz. Blue Cheese Crumble

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 375˚F.
  • Place pizza dough on a baking sheet/pizza stone, brush with a little olive oil and poke holes with a fork. Place in oven and bake for about 7 to 10 minutes, until the dough starts to get a nice golden hue to it.
  • Remove dough from the oven and spread Italian cheese evenly over the dough, next top with the apple slices, bacon, garlic and lastly the blue cheese crumble.
  • Bake for about 10 to 12 minutes until crust is completely cooked and cheese is is completely melted. Drizzle with maple syrup and serve.
