Nashville Hot Fried Pickles

Can you believe this is the last Monday of September? Wow, this month has totally flown by! Since the weather is starting to get a little chilly I am throwing down with a recipe to heat things up lol. We are making some Nashville Hot Fried Pickles! These are some awesome appetizers you guys will totally fall in love with as soon as you try them. The Best Nashville Hot Fried Pickles

Total Time 20 minutes

Ingredients
  

Pickles:

  • 24 oz. Jar of Pickles
  • 2 Cups Buttermilk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tsp. Louisiana Hot Sauce
  • 3 Cups Flour
  • 1 tsp. Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. Cayenne
  • Salt

Nashville Hot Sauce:

  • 1/2 Cup Butter Melted
  • 1-1/2 Tbsp. Cayenne
  • 3/4 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oil to 375˚F.
  • In a bowl combine buttermilk, hot sauce, and eggs. Add in drained pickles and allow them to soak. In a second bowl combine flour, salt, paprika and cayenne.
  • One at a time remove pickles form buttermilk mixture and coat in the flour mixture adding them into the heated oil, and allow to cook for about 3 to 5 minutes until they are a nice golden brown.
  • While the pickles are frying make your hot sauce. On the stove top melt down the butter, add all the ingredients and stir to combine.
  • Either brush the fried pickles with the sauce or place both in a bowl and toss to coat.
