One Skillet Chicken Parmesan

Anyway on to tonight’s recipe. I decided to I needed to do a simple straight forward dinner recipe to help the parent on the go. Less than an hour’s worth of cooking and prep work and BAM you have an awesome dinner the whole family will chow down and love. I mean who doesn’t like Chicken Parmesan… better yet a simple One Skillet Chicken Parmesan. I love making these throw it all in a pan and throw the whole pan in the oven type of dinners. There is a bit of up front work then just sit back and let it cook lol. So when you do try this one make sure to go ahead and take a picture and post it to my my Facebook page so I can check it out.

One Skillet Chicken Parmesan Recipe

Total Time 45 minutes

Servings 4 Servings

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Chicken Breasts Halved
  • 1-1/2 Cups Breadcrumbs
  • 1-1/2 Cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Cup Parmesan Cheese Grated
  • 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 1/3 Cup Olive Oil
  • 8 oz. Fresh Mozzarella Sliced
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. Basil
  • 1 tsp. Water

Instructions
 

  • Pre-Heat oven to 350˚.
  • Cut each chicken breast in half length wise so you have 4 thin breasts.
  • Combine 1 Cup Parmesan, bread crumbs, and half of basil in a shallow bowl. In a second bowl whisk together eggs & water. Place flour on a plate.
  • Coat each chicken breast in flour, then coat in the egg mixture, and lastly coat in the breadcrumbs.
  • Heat olive oil in your skillet. Place breaded chicken in hot oil and allow to cook on each side for about 3 minutes. Remove all the chicken and place on a plate.
  • Add about half of the tomato sauce to the hot skillet. Place Chicken back into the pan, make sure there is no overlap.
  • Cover in the remaining tomato sauce, place sliced mozzarella over each chicken breast. Sprinkle with remaining parmesan and basil.
  • Bake for 30 minutes and this one is all set.
