Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joe

What’s up everyone! It’s Monday the start of a brand new week. I am totally in the mood for comfort food today. So why not do an awesome fusion food porn version of some food porn lol. We are going to make some Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joe! Yup this is a really cool and as usual easy dinner. Let’s be honest too if you put these bad boys out on the table for your family EVERY one will totally kill it. I mean really it doesn’t take much to sell this recipe lol. Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joe Recipe

Total Time 30 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 1 Cup Beef Broth
  • 8 oz. Provolone Cheese Shredded
  • 8 oz. Mushrooms Diced
  • 1 Onion Diced
  • 1 Green Pepper Diced
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 6 Brioche Buns

Instructions
 

  • Break up and brown ground beef in a pan/skillet.
  • Remove beef from the pan, leave the fat in the pan. Add butter once it is melted down add in onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms.
  • Allow to cook for a few minutes, allowing the vegetables become tender and add beef back into the pan.
  • In small dish mix cornstarch into beef broth, making sure it is completely combined.
  • Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and the beef broth mixture.
  • Allow to simmer for several minutes stirring occasionally so sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
  • Remove from heat and add in cheese mixing until it is melted.
  • Toast buns, scoop plenty of sloppy joe meat on each bun and enjoy!
