Rigatoni Pizza Pie

I am going to honest sometimes I make recipes just to have fun and sometimes I make things to mess with Karl over at the Twin Moons Tavern YouTube Channel. Today’s video, Rigatoni Pizza Pie is a little bit of column A and a little bit of column B lol. I love making mashups that are really different and love Karl’s reactions to them lol. So With this recipe I got to have fun and eat some pasta and then get to get messages from Karl lol. Who said don’t play with your food? lol Anyway you are going to totally love trying this Rigatoni Pizza Pie. Rigatoni Pizza Pie!

Servings 6 Servings

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz. Rigatoni
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1-1/2 Mozzarella Cheese Shredded
  • 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese Grated
  • 2 Cups Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. Milk
  • 2 Cups Pizza Sauce
  • 1/3 Cup Pepperoni Sliced
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400˚.
  • In a large pot boil salted water. Add in your rigatoni, cook it for about 8 minutes. You want it to be a little bit stiff not cooked all the way. Once done drain and place in a large bowl, add olive oil, 1/2 cup mozzarella, and 1/4 cup Parmesan and mix until the noodles are coated.
  • In a small bowl mix together ricotta, eggs, milk, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Line the bottom of a spring form pan with foil add spread half of the pizza sauce onto the bottom of the pan. Pack the cooked rigatoni into the springform pan. Top with the ricotta mixture, the rest of the pizza sauce, rest of the mozzarella, and top with pepperoni.
  • Place in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes until the cheese is completely melted.
