Here is another easy, yet great mug cake. I taken to making a bunch of these because everyone in my house likes them and they are super simple to make. There is nothing like a good Root Beer Float Mug cake, you guys will love this one.
Root Beer Float Mug Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 Large Egg
- 3 Tbsp. Root Beer
- 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 6 Tbsp. Self Rising Flour
- Salt
Instructions
- Whisk together butter and sugars, stir in the egg, root beer and extract. Add your flour and salt and beat until smooth.
- Pour batter into a cup filling just past the half way point.
- Microwave for 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 minutes, until the cake rises and is firm. Allow them to cool
Notes
If you don’t have self rising flour just whisk together 1 Cup of All Purpose Flour, 3/4 tsp. baking powder and a little salt… thats all now you are ready!
