Guess what everyone! It’s Friday! The weekend is here I know everyone has things to do they want to get so don’t have a lot of time for dinner tonight. So how about something really quick really easy and really good! How about a Sloppy Joe Cornbread Casserole. The cool thing about this recipe is it is one of those throw it all together in a pan and throw the pan in the oven and BOOM your done. Now the thing is though is even if it is quick and easy it still needs to taste amazing. Just because you throw it out fast doesn’t mean everyone will chow down on it right? I can promise you this dinner hits all those things! So go ahead guys make this quick easy and sooooo good tasting dinner I know you will fall in love and put it in the permanent rotation.

Sloppy Joe Cornbread Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Ground Beef
- 1 Onion Diced
- 1/2 Bell Pepper Diced
- 15 oz. Can Sloppy Joe Sauce
- 7 oz. Sweet Cornbread Mix
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1 Egg
- 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Heat an oven safe skillet on the stove to over medium high heat. Cook the ground beef, onion and green bell pepper until the beef is cooked through. Drain the fat from the skillet and stir in the sloppy joe sauce*, simmer for 2 to 3 minutes then remove from heat.
- In a small bowl whisk together the Martha White Sweet Yellow Cornbread muffin mix with the milk and egg then stir in the cheese. Pour over the top of the sloppy joe mix.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until cornbread is lightly browned on top and cooked through.
