Spicy Totchos

Wow it’s Friday.. That means more wrestling tournaments with my sone this weekend lol. The closer we get to state the less time I have to cook lol. So today I am putting out there a really fast but cool appetizer that totally kills it in the taste department. I am making some Spicy Totchos! Yes I typed that right totchos. I mean the base is freaking Tater Tots!! Need I say more? Oh not convinced yet lol. Well watch the video check out all the cool flavors involved in this one and tell me that you don’t wanna try these. My son and my daughter KILLED this whole tray once I said I was done filming lol. So go ahead guys give this one a try, and when you do make it make sure to post a pic to my Facebook page!

Spicy Totchos Recipe

Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
Total Time 45 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 32 oz. Tater Tots
  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 8 0 z. Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 1/3 Cup Hot Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Sour Cream
  • 4 Bacon Slices Crumbled
  • Green Onions Chopped

Instructions
 

  • Cook the full bag of taters tots following the packages instructions.
  • While tater tots are cooking, brown your ground beef and break it up. Once it is cooked all the way through drain the grease and add in the hot sauce.
  • Once tots and beef are cooked, place tots on a foil lined baking sheet, top with the ground beef then cheese and bacon.
  • Bake at 400˚ for about 7-10 minutes, until the cheese is completely melted.
  • Once cooked add sour cream and green onions.
