Honey Jalapeño Hot Wings

What’s up every! Happy Friday.. woot woot we made the it to the end of the week. So going into this weekend I decided we needed an AWESOME weekend recipe. So how about some Honey Jalapeño Hot Wings. These are seriously some next level wings you guys will love. I ended up having my brother over when I made these and they lasted about 37 seconds beyond the end of filming lol. Really though it is so hard to go wrong with wings, add that sweet and spicy flavor to them and well you know you will rock it. So go ahead guys give these a try! Honey Jalapeño Hot Wings Recipe

Prep Time 1 hour 10 minutes
Cook Time 40 minutes

Ingredients
  

Marinade:

  • 10 oz. Jalapeño Jelly
  • 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Pineapple Juice
  • 1/4 Cup Honey
  • 1/4 Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp. Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. Allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. Cayenne
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Wings:

  • 3 lb. Drumsticks
  • 2 tsp. Cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • In small bowl mix together all the marinade ingredients, make sure they are completely combined. If you have to heat the jelly in the microwave for about 30 seconds to soften it up.
  • Place wings in another bowl and coat with 1/2 Cup of the marinade. Cover and allow to marinade at least an hour (you can go over night if you want).
  • Pre-heat oven to 450˚.
  • When chicken is done marinading pat it dry, the drier the chicken is the crispier the skin will come out. Place chicken on prepped baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes.
  • While chicken is baking put remaining marinade into a sauce pan and whisk in cornstarch. Bring to a boil, turn down heat and allow to simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Once chicken is finished toss in marinade and serve!
