Chili Chorizo Cornbread

Hey guys! We did it the week is over it’s time to relax and enjoy the summer! So that means we need some cool BBQ recipes and some awesome BBQ sides right? Yup, so I give to you this cool Chili Chorizo Cornbread Recipe!! Come on you guys you know you love it =) It’s time to throw down with something fun and a little different. I mean what’s the point to jumping into the kitchen if you aren’t going to have fun right lol. So go ahead guys give this one a try I know you will love it. Chili Chorizo Cornbread Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Cornmeal
  • 2 Cups Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 14 oz. Cream Corn
  • 8 oz. Chorizo Cooked & Crumbled
  • 8 oz. Sour Cream
  • 4 oz. Green Chilies
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Green Onions Sliced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375˚.
  • Whisk together your eggs, cornmeal, corn, sour cream, milk, oil, sugar, and chilies.
  • Add in chorizo, 1-1/2 Cups of the shredded cheese, and green onions and continue to mix until completely combined.
  • Pour into a baking dish and add remaining cheese on top.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes.
