Apple Butter French Toast Rolls

Time for French Toast recipe number two of the weekend! Like I said with the last one it’s apple time! So why not have a little fun with Apple Butter? Yup we are making some Apple Butter French Toast Rolls! Just another fun and simple breakfast recipe that doesn’t take a lot of work but totally is worth trying for how great it tastes. I know you guys are going to fall in love with this one, so when you do make it be sure to take pix and post them to my Facebook page!

Apple Butter French Toast Rolls Recipe

Total Time 25 minutes
Course Breakfast, Dessert
Cuisine American
Servings 2 Servings

Ingredients
  

  • 6 Texas Toast Slices
  • 3 Apples Peeled and Sliced
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Caramel Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • In a pan/skillet combine apples and caramel sauce, stir so apples are coated. Cook for about 15 minutes until apples are soft.
  • In shallow dish combine eggs, milk, and cinnamon. Dip both sides of each slice of Texas Toast into the mixture.
  • In another pan/skillet cook each slice until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes each side.
  • To serve place a piece of French Toast on a plate, top with caramel apples and then a second slice of toast. Top with syrup, or powdered sugar.
