Deconstructed Jalapeño Popper Burger

I have been working in my back yard over the last couple of years getting it fixed up and to a point I am really happy with it. I just laid a brick patio this weekend and would say my back yard is about 90% of the way there. So of course I busted out a burger recipe! I mean what is the point of having the grill on a new brick patio if you aren’t going to use it lol. So I made a Deconstructed Jalapeño Popper Burger!! Every single part of this burger is something to completely fall in love with lol. So go ahead guys make this one I know you will be making this one all the time. Deconstructed Jalapeño Popper Burger Recipe

Total Time 35 minutes

Ingredients
  

Onion Strings:

  • 1 Onion Sliced
  • 1 Cup Buttermilk
  • 1-1/3 Cups Flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Blistered Jalapeños:

  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 6 Jalapeños Halved &Seeded
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Jalapeño Cream Cheese:

  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 4 Bacon Slices Cooked and Chopped
  • 1 or 2 Jalapeños Seeded & Diced

Brugers:

  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 4 Brioche Buns
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
 

Onion Strings:

  • Place sliced onion in a bowl and cover with buttermilk. Heat oil to 350˚.
  • Place the flour into a shallow dish. Take onions from butter milk and coat in the flour, shake off the excess flour and fry in the oil until they are golden brown and crispy.

Jalapeños:

  • Heat 1 Tbsp. in a pan/skillet place jalapeños cost with the other Tbsp of oil and season to your taste. Cook allowing to blister on both sides.

Jalapeño Cream Cheese:

  • Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl.

Burgers:

  • Take the ground beef and form 4 burger patties. Season with salt and pepper to your taste and cook to your desired temperature.
  • To assemble place the burger patty on the bottom bun, next add 2 or 3 blistered jalapeños, the jalapeño cream cheese and then top with your onions strings and close.
