So I have taken to doing a weekly mug cake mostly because my kids (sometimes wife) love them. This time Maddie got excited since I was taking some of her favorite ingredients and wanted to be part of making it. So here she is my little chef in the making helping me make a Chocolate Raspberry Mug Cake.
Chocolate Raspberry Mug Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter
- 1/4 Cup Chocolate Chips
- 1 Large Egg
- 3-1/2 Tbsp. Milk
- 1/4 tsp. Vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. Cocoa Powder
- 4 Tbsp. Self Rising Flour
- Salt
- 1/4 Cup Raspberries
Instructions
- Mix melted Chocolate and butter, whisk in your egg, Milk, Vanilla, Sugar and Cocoa.
- Add flour (start with 2 Tbsp. and add more as needed to thicken batter up) and salt. Beat until smooth.
- Fold in raspberries and divide into your mugs.
- Microwave from 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 minutes.
Notes
If you don’t have self rising flour just mix 1 Cup of flour, 3/4 teaspoon of baking powder and a little salt.That’s it, this sweet little treat is done. Maddie was a little nervous come talking and tasting but I think I will have her pick and help me cook more recipes =)
