Bacon Cheeseburger Jalapeno Poppers Recipe
Ingredients
- 11 Jalapenos
- 1 Medium Onion Chopped
- 3 Garlic Cloves Chopped
- 1 lb. Ground Beef
- 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded
- 10 Bacon Slices
- 1 tsp. Mustard
- 3 Tbsp. Barbecue Sauce
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Ketchup
Instructions
- Slice the jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise and scoop out the insides. Set them onto a baking sheet.
- Heat a large pan to medium heat and heat olive oil. Add chopped jalapeno and onion. Cook about 5 minutes to soften.
- Add garlic and cook another minute until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook through, about 6-7 minutes. Mix in Mustard, Barbecue Sauce, Worcestershire Sauce and Ketchup until combined. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
- Swirl in cheddar cheese and mix to incorporate.
- Stuff each jalapeno pepper with cheese beef mixture.
- Slice the bacon on half lengthwise and wrap each stuffed pepper. If you want more bacon, use a whole slice of bacon for each popper half.
- Set oven to broil and set the poppers into the center of the oven, not too close to the heat. Broil the poppers 15 minutes, or until bacon is crisp.
