Bacon Pineapple Jalapeño Poppers

Hey guys happy Monday.. is a happy Monday a thing? Well, hopefully you had a good day at work and things went smoothly for you. Anyway today we are gonna make something really cool. I am doing some Bacon Pineapple Jalapeño Poppers! This adds a new level of sweet and savory to classic Jalapeño Poppers, that just put these over the top! This is a quick and simple recipe that will become part of your appetizer rotation and you will fall in love! How to Make Bacon Pineapple Jalapeño Poppers

Total Time 45 minutes
Course Appetizer, bbq, Gameday, Snack
Cuisine American, Barbecue
Servings 20 Poppers

Ingredients
  

  • 10  Jalapeños
  • 8  oz.  Cream Cheese Softened
  • 20 oz.  Can Crushed Pineapple in Heavy
  • 20  Bacon Slices
  • BBQ Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375˚F. Slice jalapeños lengthwise, then core and seed.
  • In a medium bowl bet the cream until it is fluffy add in the drained pineapple and mix together until completely combined.
  • Spoon the mixture into each jalapeño, and wrap with a slice of bacon. If needed use a toothpick to hold in place.
  • Bake of about 30 to 35 minutes (depending on how you like your bacon cooked). Remove from the oven and baste with your favorite BBQ sauce. Place back in the oven of another 5 minutes.
