Pat dry all the chicken wings. Mix all ingredients for the dry rub. Liberally coat the chicken wings with the dry rub patting it down. Add more or less depending how much spice you want.
Allow to rest for 10 to 15 minutes then bake for 20 minutes. Flip the wings over and back another 20 minutes.
While the chicken is baking, whisk together the ingredients for the sauce in a small sauce pan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and allow to simmer for about 15 minutes.
Use about 2 Tbsp. of the sauce and toss cooked wings in it. Using the rest for dipping sauce.
