Habanero Bacon Mac N' Cheese Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz. Shell Pasta
  • 10 Bacon Slices Cooked and Crumbled
  • 4-5 Habanero Peppers Seeded & Diced
  • 4 Cups Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 Red Onion Diced
  • 4 oz. Habanero Jack Cheese Shredded
  • 4 oz. Pepper Jack Cheese Shredded
  • 4 Tbsp. Butter
  • 4 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta according to directions on the box.
  • Pre-heat oven to 375˚.
  • In large pan/skillet melt butter and sauté onions and habaneros until translucent. Sprinkle in flour mixing everything together.
  • After about 1 minute slowly start whisking your heavy cream in. Constantly stir for about 5 minutes to allow to thicken.
  • Reduce heat and add in shredded cheese, seasoning and bacon. Cook until cheese is completely melted, then pour in cooked pasta and stir until shells are coated.
  • Pour into a 9x13 baking dish and bake for about 10 minutes.
