Hooters Buffalo Shrimp

Ingredients
  

SHRIMP

  • 20 Jumbo Shrimp
  • 1 Egg Beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. Mustard
  • 1 tsp. Creole Seasoning
  • 2 tsp. Onion Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

BATTER

  • 1 Cup Cornmeal
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 2 tsp. Creole Seasoning
  • Pepper
  • 1-1/2 Cups Buffalo Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Pre heat oil in a large pot to 350 degrees.
  • Mix egg with mustard. Place shrimp in a large bowl, coat with spices, egg/mustard mixture and set aside.
  • Mix all batter ingredients together in a large bowl. Drag shrimp through batter, coating liberally.
  • Once coated fry shrimp for about 3-4 minutes until cooked all the way through.
  • Toss cooked shrimp in buffalo sauce to coat nicely.
