Instructions
Peel and cube your potatoes, then place in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and allow to go for about 20 minutes.
Drain potatoes, then place in a large bowl with sour cream, green onion, bacon, salt and pepper to taste and mash together.
Heat oil to 350˚.
Scoop potatoes out in a ball and place cheese stick slices in the middle and form the potatoes around the cheese stick so it is completely covered.
Place flour, egg, and panko in three separate shallow dishes.
Coat sticks in the flour, then egg and panko. To make them extra crispy put them through the egg then panko a second time.
Fry for about 2-3 minutes, until they are a golden brown.
