Western Burger Recipe

Ingredients
  

BBQ MAYONNAISE

  • 1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. BBQ Sauce

CRISPY ONIONS

  • 1/2 Cup Flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 Medium Onion Thinly Sliced

BURGER

  • 1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 1-1/4 lb. Ground Beef
  • 4 Slices Cheddar Cheese
  • Pickle Slices I used a zesty
  • 4 tsp. Smoky Montreal Steak Seasoning

Instructions
 

BBQ MAYONNAISE

  • Mix mayonnaise and Bar-B-Q Sauce in small bowl until well blended.
  • Cover. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

CRISPY ONIONS

  • In Large bowl mix flour, salt and pepper.
  • Add onion; toss to coat well.
  • Heat oil on medium-high heat.
  • Carefully add onion rings to hot oil. Fry 4 to 5 minutes, turning once to brown evenly, until onions rings are golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Set aside.

BURGERS

  • Mix Ground Beef, seasoning, chili powder and brown sugar in bowl.
  • Shape ground beef into 4 patties.
  • Grill over medium heat 4 to 6 minutes per side or until burgers are cooked through (internal temperature of 160∫F). Add cheese slices to burgers 1 minute before cooking is completed.
  • Serve burgers on rolls topped with grilled pickles, Crispy Onion Straws and lettuce. Serve with BBQ Mayonnaise.

Notes

If you don't have Steak Seasoning you can make your own
2 Tbsp. Paprika
2 Tbsp. black Pepper
2 tbsp. Salt
1 Tbsp. Garlic Powder
1 Tbsp. Onion Powder
1 Tbsp. Crushed Coriander
1 Tbsp. Dill
1 Tbsp. Red Pepper Flakes
